Regional Marketing Manager, Middle East

The EMEA Marketing team is a key part of the highly successful European business. Our team of marketing experts works closely with other key sales and marketing functions globally to design, build and execute innovative and impactful marketing programs and to generate high quality leads for our Blue Coat sales teams and partners.

As part of this team, The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team. He or she will act as liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as EMEA demand center.

The Regional Marketing Manager is also expected to develop marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics. He or she will also manage vendor contracts and relationships.

This role will report to the VP of Marketing EMEA.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lead generation and pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
- Research, choose, design and manage events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
- Forecast, measure, analyse and report on impact of programs
- Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimise the impact of marketing activities
- Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers
- Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling
- Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs

The Regional Marketing Managers success will be measured against the following KPIs.
- Inquiry/response rate
- Demand waterfall conversion metrics
- Database growth/health
- Sourced and Influenced pipeline
- Revenue Generated / Deals closed

IT experience - Channel marketing / Peach Tree / Sales Force / Ms Office - excel / Digital Marketing

Requirements

The successful candidate will have 8 or more years experience of field marketing leadership experience.

Background and experience required:
- Has worked in a b-to-b business within the IT industry
- Has deep understanding of the demand waterfall model and excellent knowledge of demand waterfall processes and metrics
- Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales
- Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
- Has previously selected/overseen creative and demand creation agencies and has good knowledge of agency landscape/best practices in EMEA and the Middle East in particular
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
- Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
- Inbound and outbound marketing strategy/execution experience
