Regional Payroll Accountant

Job description / Role

The key responsibilities within payroll are as follows:
- Ensure all timesheets collected by end of first day of the month.
- Ensure all contractors are paid in line with contractual terms.
- Post sales invoices immediately upon completion of payroll.
- Ensure all payroll and social taxes are paid in line with statutory deadlines.
- Ensure all payroll queries are initially responded to within a 24 hour period.
- Provide finance with a weekly payroll cash requirement forecast.
- Pro-actively review process and controls within payroll to improve efficiency and effectiveness of payroll.
- Ensure all payroll master data is accurate and up to date.

The key responsibilities within payroll compliance are as follows:
- To ensure all income tax, employer tax and relevant documentation is submitted correctly and on time
- Yearly tax compliance submission of all tax forms and legislative documentation
- Compliance of statutory reporting within each country relating to region of responsibility

Other key responsibilities are as follows:
- To assist in the yearly statutory audits when required by finance and to substantiate the reports given to auditors.
- Responsible for the tax compliance in country ensuing that all personal social security , income tax and any other relevant statutory or taxation filings and payments are done within regulatory the deadlines given.
- Review relevant areas of client contracts to ensure that taxation, invoicing, payroll and credit terms are acceptable to the company.
- Developing pro-active and strong relationships with the finance departments across the company.
- Working with the Regional Financial Controller to drive improvement and compliance within region and the company.
- To proactively look for ways to improve processes and payroll timetable, along with efficiency with Navision.

Requirements

Looking for an honest and hard worker to join a well-established finance team in Dubai.

- Payroll experience is a must, including tax experience
- Advanced use of Excel
- Experience with Navision will be a plus
- Advanced administration experience
- Confident and self-motivated
