Employment: Full Time

Our client headquartered in India is a leading player in the design, development and manufacture of products for the home interior industry which are principally in the MDF & particle boards, Doors, decorative laminates and end furniture space. They work closely with end-users, developers, architects, commercial landlords and main contractors to sell their products to the wider market.

They employ 2500 employees in total with 350 employees in Sales & Marketing Function. Current Turnover is US$50 million

Responsible for the development and maintenance of key accounts within the assigned area of responsibility and product portfolio for decorative laminates. Lead all sales activities, from lead generation through closing-of-the-sale in both new key accounts / project clients. Implements agreed upon sales and marketing plans which will meet business plans of expanding customer base and revenues with the account.

In the medium term, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the GCC region by building a team and selling to key and target accounts, end-users and contractors

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for growing sales revenue targets in the assigned accounts by building relationships with these accounts and helping them grow their business by making recommendations on the assigned product offering
- Develops a database of qualified sales leads through referrals, internet and news research, telephone canvassing, regular face-to-face meetings with key developer, architectural firm and contractor executives and influencers, direct mail, email, and networking
- Responsible for the sale of decorative laminates to distributors and key direct projects. Will appoint distributor / multiple distributors indifferent GCC countries
- Conducts effective product and proposal presentations that will make project prospects know about company and its products and services and that will identify prospects business problems, needs and wants so that solution can be offered. Present ways by which products and services can add value to the clients business through the use of established company presentation templates or by creating tailor-fit presentations
- Work with the support teams in India for the achievement of customer-satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in taking market share from competitors
- Develops and implements locally or regionally-mandated (such as but not limited to the Ideal-Project Process) weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business plans in conjunction with the Board members, which details activities to follow during fiscal year so that sales target are met or exceeded
- Take active involvement in order management, inventory control and allocation, pricing strategies, contract management, collection and product delivery with the assigned accounts
- Implements company promotions plans in his assigned accounts and territory
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and code of conduct

Requirements

- Min 6 years experience in sales management role for the building material industry based either in UAE or other GCC country. Experienced in building successful sales teams
- Decorative laminates product portfolio knowledge and experience is preferred
- Strong Key referral partners including interior designers, architects, builders and contractors
- Well versed with key accounts, competitors, relationships and industry trends
- Established key distributors in GCC countries in the industry
