Senior Accountant - Receivables

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for supporting the credit controller in ensuring receivables days are met and trade spend is monitored through controlling manufacturing list price, ensuring up to date market DNs recorded and up to date collection records.

- Prepare an accurate and timely AR ageing analysis report and bad debts provision
- Issue the statement of account to the customers and ensure the balance is reconciled and agreed by the customers on monthly basis
- Review and record the petty cash for all sales teams
- Revise & record Market Support DNs from customers.
- Record collections daily.
- Check the not invoiced Way Bills.
- Update price lists.
- Revise & update Security Guarantees Expiry Dates.
- Monitor private label prices & discounts.
- Prepare weekly collection report.
- Conduct comparison of marketing expenses against last year
- Assist in the maintenance and control of trade spending across all market/assigned market.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree of accounting from a well-known university.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in AR accounting, preferably in FMCG environment
- Decent knowledge in international financial reporting standards and general accepted accounting principles.
- Good awareness of Oracle Financials, advanced Excel user
