Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Perform targeted product introductions (face to face meetings, phone calls) in coordination with ICG MENA director and wider ICG teams
- Sell-side: Help orchestrate and support the company’s investment product distribution campaigns in the Middle East
- Buy-side: Connect the investment requirements of Middle East investors with real estate product available through other firms or off-market in coordination with relevant colleagues
- Contribute in building relationships with investors (in a specific geography or among a specific investors category, or a combination of both)
- Become the trusted CRM for selected MENA investors
- Cross-selling/BD role: Help identify and create opportunities for the firm to advise Middle East clients who already hold investments in the region or overseas (e.g. strategic consulting, valuation, leasing, project management, property management, financing etc)
- Co-ordinating and producing meeting notes, news articles, presentations on different topics that are relevant to ICG (Regional research papers, client presentations and updates, public/conference presentations)
- Maintaining of client and deal database in coordination with the other ICG analysts in the US, Asia and Europe
- Contribute and help research teams produce globally comparable real estate metrics and sources of data
- Oversee the knowledge management system
- Deal with routine affairs and make sure the office operates efficiently, particularly when Director is out of the office
- Organisation and maintenance of paper and computer based files

Requirements

- 3 - 8 years’ of real estate experience at an internationally recognised organisation
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- An existing network of contacts amongst Middle East investors audience is an advantage
- Highest standards of business ethics and the commercial experience to maintain these standards in difficult environments
- A highly-motivated, well-organised and collaborative approach to business
- Experience of operating within a globally dispersed and culturally diverse teams is an advantage
- Discreet in handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Good command Excel and PowerPoint
- ‘Can do’ positive attitude
- Hard working, team player, curious and creative
- Flexible approach to work, hours can be variable
- Commercial attitude
- An outgoing personality: mature, easy going, unflappable, friendly and approachable
- A self-starter, generating new ideas and outputs
