Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose: Execute all initiatives related to Facility Management and Health, Safety and Environment of the specific business entity and provide operational support related to FM and HSE issues to ensure compliance with defined regulations and guidelines to achieve departmental objectives.

Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area:
- Develop plan for FM/HSE services to ensure proper implantation and redness of building
- Develop regular schedule to inspect the building interior & exterior activities to make sure the building and equipment stay in working order:
- Make daily check list of observations, arrange for fixing, and ensure follow-up with service provider
- Mange the FM/HSE service provider to ensure maximum value by service provider
- Carry out routine and regular operational FM/HSE inspections, to ensure compliance with FM/HSE regulatory requirements as well as promoting FM/HSE management systems based on the integration and adaptation of DHCC, local and international guidelines.
- Implement guidelines and procedures for proper handling, use and storage of chemicals, construction material, substances, fuels and other potentially dangerous materials to minimize hazards.
- Monitor implementation of Permit to Work system requirements and observe compliance of business partner/contractor activities to ensure safe practices.
- Implement risk management measures and operational best practices as defined to mitigate risks and ensure integration of FM/HSE policies and practices into the business to achieve departmental goals.
- Interact and consult with Management, Consultants, Suppliers, Clients and departmental managers to provide advice on appropriate FM/HSE control measures and requirements.
- Monitor changes to applicable FM/HSE legislation and emerging issues/trends; update FM/HSE management systems with revised codes of practices in order to maintain accurate registry of information.
- Participate in investigations to find out root causes of accidents to ensure that all agreed corrective and preventive actions are followed up and closed by effectively liaising with all stake holders.
- Prepare and submit reports of various investigations conducted affecting the FM/HSE and initiate / develop and monitor corrective measures to identify casual factors and determine necessary remedial action so that re-occurrence is prevented.
- Support the audit/inspection process as required by the relevant authority standards in order to monitor conformity and provide recommendation for corrective action planning.
- Collate and update FM/HSE performance statistics on a monthly basis as per DHCC FM/HSE management system requirements to provide reports for management review and decision making.
- Ensure compliance with business systems and processes and consciously promote regulatory and safety practices in all departmental activities to conform to Company guidelines

Requirements

- Diploma in Engineering. (Civil Bachelors degree preferred)
- 5 years of experience in a FM/HSE functions
