Employment: Full Time

Our client is an independent developer and power producer and focuses on renewable energy generation across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

The company was formed in order to capitalise on the region’s urgent need of energy diversification, energy security and its growing shift towards renewable energy technologies.

They are currently working with Irwin & Dow to recruit a Senior HR Generalist and this is a new position created due to the demands of the growing business. With a focus on HR practice, this role needs an understanding of HR and Recruitment practice here in the region and will require a minimum of 8 years’ experience.

The role will be heavily involved with the recruitment process and will require interaction with recruitment agencies, coordination of interviews and managing the logistics of flying out candidates, arranging travel and hotels etc. You will also be responsible for the onboarding process including the preparation of offer letters, immigration /visas and arranging temporary accommodation and provide general support to for the relocation of employees to Dubai including induction programs.

Additionally, management of vacation, sick leave, medical policies and compensation schemes as well as providing support for the bi annual performance appraisal for all employees, preparing promotion and exit management.

Requirements

The incumbent will work very closely with the Office Manager and will also be involved in people development by way of arranging team building events, preparing training plans and managing all relevant internal and external communications.

We are looking for experience in team environment together with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word and PowerPoint. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are essential as is a pro active nature. Our client is looking for a good team-player who encourages feedback and will seek help when appropriate and an effective, well-presented communicator both verbally and in writing.
