Job description / Role
A major client based in Dubai is actively looking to add an experienced Project Manager to a growing team. The team is responsible for delivering key business projects in line with group strategy.
This will involve managing the end-to-end delivery of high profile, strategic projects through effective collaboration with team-members, clients, vendors, technical teams and internal stakeholders.
Within the role, candidates will be responsible for the whole project lifecycle including:
- Establishing project plan and defining project scope
- Drive project execution and activities to ensure delivery
- Handle customer & stakeholder engagement as required
Requirements
Candidates will require in-depth knowledge of Project Management techniques and methodologies, supported by experience with Visio, MS Project and ideally SharePoint. Experience with Agile methodologies would be beneficial.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates should have extensive experience of managing large scale IT projects with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
The role will involve heavy stakeholder and relationship management within a very diverse, multi-cultural environment and as such, candidate will need excellent communication skills and prior experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
The client works heavily within the electronic payments space and as such, any knowledge/experience within this industry would be extremely beneficial.
The client is experience large growth at the moment, with a large portfolio of work in pipeline and significant investment into IT programmes.
