Solutions Architect

Job description / Role

The Ghobash Group seeks to identify and pursue interests in fully-owned operating companies across different industries. Using its investment arm, ABAN Investment, which was founded in 2008, it has stakes in technology, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, as well as healthcare and chemical sectors.

Currently looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team in Dubai.
- Manage and continuously improve the design and implementation of Solution Architecture processes and artifacts.
- Responsible for guidance on High Level Solutions approach and overall Enterprise Information Solution Architecture Patterns.
- Assess, advice and propose technology solution and its application to customer business.
- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies, do R&D and proposed increased technology automation.
- Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes responsibility for personal development.
- Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
- Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
- Orchestrate integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.
- Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.
- Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the companys overall strategic vision.
- Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
- Act as mentor to technical team members to assist in adopting new technology and applications.
- Produce architecture documents maintain software library with proper documentation.
- Promote best practices for software architecture and software development guidelines.
- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications.
- Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems.
- Responsible for developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product.
- Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product.
- Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
- Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in computer engineering and science.
- Related technical certification in database software development platforms and Software architecture.
- Awareness and related certification in project management and IT operations.
- 10 years of hand-on technology experience for designing and implementing software solution for diverse business verticals.
