KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

This is an opportunity to join KEO in the role of Utilities Engineer.

Represent the firm in communications with the Client, site discipline engineers and contractors on assigned projects. Technically assess contractor's installation in accordance with strategy and procedures, contract specifications, approved design, national and international codes of practice and established KEO project management policy and procedures manual Coordinate direct activities with other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.

- Maintain proper and complete communication with the client's site discipline engineers on all project related issues.
- Review, understand and implement on site the contract drawings and specifications.
- Prepare project reports (written and photographic) on progress of the works, quality and technical conformance of the works, safety and other matters. Take daily photographs of the work and collate the photographic data into a report.
- Supervise / Review and implement on site national and international codes of practice in conjunction with established KEO project management policy and procedures manual
- Prepare and submit the Daily Report for the day's work
- Identify issues and risks that need to be brought to the attention of senior management.
- Supervise / inspect the site works in progress (as and when directed by the CM and or ARE) throughout the day and continually monitor the Labor working in critical areas for all matters of quality, safety and progress.
- Point of contact for senior site personnel on project engineering issues
- Coordinate with other project discipline engineers
- Attend Engineering project meetings
- Assess materials delivered to site conform strictly to those approved
- Perform all other duties that may be requested by senior management
- Attend monitor day-to-day activities of site
- Ensure quality measures are implemented at site for works
- Follow-up with the contractor to implement project specification/ standards in the project
- Assist ARE in day-to day activities

Requirements

- Experience of working on Large residential Villa projects.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of relevant discipline within construction the field.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image.
- Ability to understand, identify and assess project risk.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.
- A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the Construction/Project management of broad-based engineering, preferably in the region
- Good knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
- BSc in Engineering field (mech/elec/Utilities)
- Member of Professional Engineering Society
- English, knowledge of Arabic an advantage
- E. P.M.P. - Any other as required for discipline
