Job description / Role
Maintenance Technician, will be responsible for maintaining AV equipment and systems and providing event/conference center/conference room set up support. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with general maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment (including Video Projectors, Intelligent and generic lighting, Audio systems, and Electric motors).
Requirements
Key Result Areas:
- Maintain and repair Technical equipment.
- Keep adequate stock of spare parts, and manage stock levels
- Diagnose faults in complex Audiovisual equipment, and perform first line maintenance where applicable.
- Follow safe working procedures
- Develop working relationships with other departments and work as a team member
- Act as warehouse operations personnel, and prepare prep sheets and equipment returns.
Accountabilities
- Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures
- Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates
- Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security, Health & Safety requirements
- Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head
- As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions
