Overview of the role:

Ensure accurate business reporting by adhering to robust closing activities.

What you will do:
- Ensures accurate and timely month, quarter, and year-end closing, providing necessary analysis.
- Maintains the Chart of Accounts, ensuring proper classification among account groups.
- Prepares monthly management reports and facilitates a clean year-end audit, assisting with financial audits and interfacing with auditors.
- Prepares and distributes timely, accurate financial statements and related analytical reports.
- Participates in special projects, ERP implementation, and adhoc analyses as assigned.
- Reconciles inter-company accounts and rectifies reconciling items, ensuring proper accounting in the General Ledger.
- Handles intercompany cost allocations and maintains accurate revenue and cost recognition databases.
- Ensures all month-end entries, such as pre-payments and accruals, are processed accurately and monitors tax entries, especially VAT accounting.

Requirements

Required Skills to be successful:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Solid background of real estate sector accounting.
- Strong Tax accounting and filing experience is preferred.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent in Microsoft Excel, power point and WinWord.
- Strong understanding of setting up and organizing database and spread sheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- SAP financial application experience preferred.

- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Fast learner.
