Business Navigator - IKEA - Cairo Festival City - Cairo, Egypt

We are seeking to hire a Business Navigator to manage and control the cash office functions and ensures daily/weekly and monthly routines are followed. To audit the entire store to ensure that previous audit reports are followed with documented checks are in place.

Continue to investigate areas of the store that could lead to possible stock losses and fraud if routines are not updated and communicated. Understand and help the Store Manager and Management Team to control expenses in the P&L for the store and identify areas of opportunities and highlight out of line situations.

Your Job responsibilities will be including but not limited to the following :
- Ensure that accurate reports are provided to the Store/Regional Office personnel consistently to meet reporting deadlines
- Maintain data archives in the system to facilitate easy access when required
- Audit measures to make sure that Daily reconciliation of Collections are true and fair in all aspects.
- Support Service office in creating, Amending SOP’s based on improving the operational efficiency but without compromising the operational standards.
- Work with Line Managers in order to provide P&L and other
- KPI’s to support in productivity measurements.
- Provide weekly and monthly periodic reports to the Management Team regards Business performance.
- Conduct relevant Delft audits and work with Cross Management Teams.
- Work with Line Manager Stakeholders in order to maintain proactive relationships with external suppliers and contractors on a regular basis to reduce costs of stationary and to question LPO’s and the reason for the spend.
- The total store admin controls must be looked into based on a scheduled basis and feedback should be communicated to the CRM and Store Manager. All areas of the store: goods receiving/home delivery/checkouts/cash office/passouts/IKEA Food for example must have regular audits executed.
- Show a proactive approach by using information from co-workers/meetings etc to dig deeper into areas where possible stock losses and fraud could be found.
- Responsible for the management of recovery department
- Responsible for the management of the staff scheduling planning function
- Lead and train the team to be able to carry out all cash office and admin/audit function
- Develop the admin executives to be able to understand and manage the role when the Admin and Audit Manager is absent.

Supervise the following, below are not exclusive, however a priority:
- Daily reconciliation of store takings & reporting.
- Forex Recon and monitoring of exchange rates.
- Cheques collection and control.
- Tallying of safe fund daily.
- Credit Card Reconciliation.
- Gift Vouchers redemption and reconciliation.
- Banking of the various tender types.
- Store Petty Cash.

Requirements

- Commerce graduate with experience in Audit and Software/ Business Administration
- 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
