Employment: Full Time

As part of the Legal Department's mission to continuously support the business in the most efficient manner, the role of the Contracts Specialist will be to support our internal clients in negotiating, drafting and preparing agreements to which Nestle is a party. The role will also extend to ensure that agreements comply with Nestles internal policies and guidelines. As Nestle grows, the role of the Contracts Specialist will be to maintain value and quality through overseeing the company's internal alignment on the terms and conditions that will ultimately affect our external operations and our relationship with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Act as initial point of contact for the team with internal business clients.
- Answer questions from internal business clients regarding internal processes, policies, templates, etc.
- Provide assistance to attorneys in reviewing, drafting, preparing, formatting, and administering contracts and template forms; organize and gather information for contract drafting and following up on outstanding contract issues . This may include meeting with appropriate business units, external agencies, and contracting parties to facilitate and expedite contract resolution and execution.
- Assist supervisory attorney in creating, socializing and implementing new processes, procedures, policies, and best practices for the contract review cycle.
- Manage the archiving of the various types of contracts to update the legal contracts library.
- Draft, prepare, and review non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements, and other agreement categories.
- Other duties as assigned, such as assisting attorneys with work flow submitted for review by internal clients, updating template forms, generating and distributing reports, and training business clients on processes and policies.

Requirements

What will make you successful

-3 years of experience in any relevant field
- Previous experience dealing with contracts negotiation, preparation, and drafting
- Excellent English verbal and written skills, a diploma in contract drafting will be a plus
- Capability to manage and impart confidential information
- Exemplary organizational skills for prioritizing and handling multiple projects and tasks and driving them to conclusion
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate legal information to business clients
