Job description / Role

Copywriter / Editor creates written messages for publications; identifies and defines the messages to be get across and turn them into compelling pieces of writing designed to educate, inform, entertain and motivate. Checks written pieces for errors and suggest ways to improve the work; finds and fixes grammatical and spelling mistakes, ensuring that the language is consistent, and that the content is appropriate for the readership.

Must have solid research skills and the ability to converse with many types of people. Also must have the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into language their target audience demands.

Job Description:
- Write copies and apply copywriting expertise to deliver a tangible output from the produced piece.
- Press kit materials' copyediting; advertisement campaigns, brochures, documents, articles, on line content and other related informative promotional material.
- Discuss theme, style and length of copy with project leaders to determine the most suitable approach.
- Edit or rewrite existing copy as necessary, and submit them for approval
- Check text to ensure it is well written and logically structured and in the right style for intended audience
- Execute project plans ensuring timely delivery of final material

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree /Higher Diploma, Master’s Degree in English, journalism or communications
- 2 + years of experience
- Excellent command of English language & grammar
- Self-discipline to meet goals and objectives
- Vivid imagination, Hard worker and Dependable
- Creative Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking and Communication skills
- An eye for detail
- Clear understanding of traditional media approaches, advertising trends and techniques
