Customer Service Assistant - Loading Bay (X2) - IKEA - Cairo Festival City - Cairo, Egypt

Job Purpose: To receive, store and arrange IKEA furniture for home delivery, ensuring that the furniture are arranged strategically and efficiently for easy flow of goods from receiving, storing and issuing to customer and the Delivery and Assembly Team.

Key Accountabilities:

Operational
- Receives and inspects all incoming goods from Back office and reconciles with home delivery documents as per the company policy, system and procedure.
- Stack items on pallets securely for proper storing /racking to ensure minimal damages and ensuring safety measures are observed and followed.
- Maintain accurate assessment of damaged items and to speed up aftersale process as per store policy and procedure.
- Ensures that all unclaimed items (if applicable) should be properly accounted, reported and recorded for audit and spot checks.
- Conduct a monthly regular safety checks at the loading bay area.
- Ensures that empty trolleys to be stacked and pushed out of loading bay ready to be collected by the trolley assistants.
- Performing housekeeping, inventory control, maintaining a clean work environment, and complying with all safety requirements.
