About the role
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
• Ensure the highest level of Databases availability, Data integrity, Security, Best practice, and best performance.
• Responsible for database Security, upgrades, patching and migrations.
• Responsible for the database monitoring and maintenance.
• Responsible for the data recovery in case of any failure.
• Follow up with the vendor support to solve or improve any technical issue.
• Experience in Oracle and SQL database administration, database maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Oracle high availability solution - RAC, Grid and ASM administration.
• Experience in Oracle and SQL Database Performance and tuning.
• Experience in Oracle Data Guard.
• Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Experience in managing Oracle Backup and Recovery Administration.
• Must have good experience in Oracle Exadata and ZDLRA.
• Experience in managing Oracle Backup and Recovery using Exadata with all needed policies.
• Must have good experience on Microsoft Failover clustering and SQL Server always on.
• Manage DB permissions and troubleshoot backup issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Very Good knowledge in Linux/Windows OS.
• Good Knowledge in MariaDB.
Requirements
Requirements:
• At least 10 years experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Database administration with advanced setup, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Bachelors degree in computer science / Engineer or a related field is required.
