Job Description & Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Cloud DevSecOps Senior associate to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years experience. They will be developing a reputation within the IT market, having worked on 4+ DevSecOps projects (at least two different DevOps solutions & at least 6 months on each project); providing valued thought leadership and opinion. They will be building a strong professional network, and have a growing presence in the Engineering ecosystem.

You will be part of a team that reports to the Cloud Service Delivery Director and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those delivering client transformation programs across the PwC Global Network, including the UK, Germany and Middle East.

As a Cloud DevSecOps Senior Associate, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and efficient DevOps pipelines in cloud environments. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle. Your expertise in Azure cloud technologies and DevOps practices will be crucial in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Implement DevOps Pipelines: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Security Integration: Integrate security tools and practices seamlessly into the DevOps pipeline to ensure continuous security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks and, including Azure Sentinel, into the DevOps pipeline to enable continuous security testing, threat detection, and incident response..
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2 by implementing security best practices, conducting security assessments, and maintaining audit trails.
- Terraform (IaC & SaC): integrating security controls and compliance measures directly into the software development lifecycle, particularly in infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Monitoring and Logging: Integrate monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Application Insight to gain visibility into the performance, availability, and security of cloud environments and applications.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

- Azure Cloud Services: Extensive experience with Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Sentinel, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory.
- DevOps Tools: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps, GitHub Repos and Actions, , continuous integration, and continuous deployment in a DevOps environment.
- Security Tools: Hands-on experience with security tools such as Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, SonarQube, WhiteSource, Snyk, and OWASP ZAP for vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and security analytics.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerization and orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing telemetry data.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Proficient in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for implementing IAM policies, RBAC, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA), with expertise in leveraging Azure Sentinel for enhanced security.

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-400, and SC-100, Kubernetes CKS, are highly desirable.

Education :
University
Bachelors education in a Computer Science/ IT / Communications Engineering
