Job description / Role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a general ledger role.
- Strong proficiency in SAP software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Highly motivated and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
