Accountabilities
- Review/Approve electrical discipline calculations and studies including Power system studies(Short circuit, Load Flow, Motor Starting, Relay Coordination), Earthing Calculation, Cable Sizing, Lighting calculation and Electrical Equipment Sizing.
- Coordinate other discipline Engineer's participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops and 3D Model sessions.
- Reply to bidders 'clarifications during bidding stage.
- Attend Project technical sessions by the EPC Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID.
- Review hazardous area classification drawings for selection of electrical equipment with respect to applicable codes.
- Assessment of all drawings prior to release to ensure complete and in compliance with project instructions, client requirements, applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Electrical Engineering issues during the EPC phase.
- Ensured development drawings checked and completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
- Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software.
- Extensive technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Required:
- A recognized and relevant bachelor engineering degree.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
