Position Summary

Providing business-focused and strategic legal advice and support on all business and corporate matters.

A day in the life of

Corporate Law and Commercial Law
- Supporting our affiliates on any contract, corporate and commercial laws matter.

Legal Risk Management
- Protect Nestle by reducing/minimizing the risks and closing the gaps and help Nestle affiliates' management in Egypt to execute flawlessly its business objectives.
- Developing, implementing, and managing a strategic plan for the provision of legal services in accordance with and in support of business objectives.
- Provide business legal advice, assistance, and support
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of actions to close the gaps have been taken
- Provide risk management advice to internal stakeholders

Compliance
- Continuously monitor compliance with cumulatively Nestle principles and values, Nestle's processes and policies and local laws and regulations and advise management accordingly
- Coordinating with and reporting any and all compliance topics to the MENA Compliance Officer based in Dubai.
- Execute the MENA Compliance Program and provide any relevant trainings to Nestle's employees.

Requirements

What will make you successful
- Master's Degree in Law (business law/corporate law/commercial law)
- Generalist in Business Law
- Admitted to the Bar Association
- Fluent in English
- Ideally, excellent command of Arabic
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience in contract, corporate and commercial laws is mandatory
- Law practice in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel in a multinational company (ideally within FMCG) or a combination of both
