RAMS/System Assurance Manager

Job description / Role

Client is a leading multi disciplinary engineering consultancy who operate throughout the middle east. They are currently working on some major rail and metro projects in the region and are looking to recruit an experienced RAMS/System Assurance Manager.

The role will be based in Cairo but will involve travel to various projects in the region. The role will involve the production and implementation, for rail, metro lines as well as other major infrastructure projects such as airports, of systems assurance requirements and strategies, system safety plans, RAMS plans, requirements management processes, hazard analysis plans and logs, failure management plans and safety cases.

The role will comprise of preparing the different system assurance documentation for infrastructure projects , providing specialist advice to other teams who are working on projects requiring systems assurance, and mentoring/coaching team members into the systems environment and language.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering and should have at least 20 years industry experience and should posses experience in railway operations, signalling, telecommunications, electrification, rolling stock, systems integration etc.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate well developed communication and management skills and proven interface/stakeholder management skills.
