Job Description: Resource Manager
Summary:
Responsible for presenting available internal and sometimes external resources (offshore, nearshore, and contractors) to fit project demand and budget.
Partner with management to maximize revenue opportunities, achieve the highest utilization, and increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the collection, management, and communication of detailed resource specifications and requirements for assignments
- Partner with management to identify resources to present for open specifications.
- Escalate urgent requests on priority staffing calls.
- Partner with managers to understand assigned consultants skill levels and experience.
- Actively monitor the selection/acceptance process for assigned resources.
- Update system with resource selection decision and supporting reason.
- Maintain data integrity and get confirm assignment end dates.
Specific Tasks to be carried out:
- Allocating resources based on skills and availability.
Contribute to overall practice reports and support ad hoc resourcing reporting.
In charge of the planning and scheduling resource requests.
- Monitoring and reporting progress of resource requests.
- Ensure proper handling of escalations.
- Maintaining the schedules of the engineers, including work assignments and offline time.
- Generating reports based upon management demand
- Performing the administration functions in SIP e.g. setting up accounts and contracts.
- Give engineers access to the projects in Project Accounting.
- Participate in UATs for new resource tools or updates in current tools.
- Train Users on resource tools being used.
- Managing and maintaining the Skills Repository tool.
- In charge of on-boarding contractors e.g. NAAs, PEs, setting up accounts..ect
- Creating Resource teams' utilization reports
Requirements
Requirements:
- French or Italian is mandatory
- Attention to detail.
- General understanding of the tools available to be able to provide statistical trend data.
- Three years of resource management or related experience.
- University Degree
- Punctual
- Able to work under pressure
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
