Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for creating and delivering sales strategy for the company, product range or designated market, to maximise growth and profitability opportunities with existing and new customers across existing and new geographies and channels by driving 4Ps execution of existing product portfolio with aggressive development of new margin enhancing products range.

- Needs to showcase product portfolio, develop requisite clientele, represent AAF&B and build business/ sell products profitably whilst meeting business targets in line with company mission & vision
- Sell products to clientele globally and achieve targets monthly and annually and achieve profitability margins
- Develop, recommend and implement brand strategy and plans, on an ongoing basis, ensuring full senior management alignment & approvals before processing.
- Develop, produce & gain agreement from senior management of clientele and get Annual Contracts signed for long term business.
- Brief, agree plans & mange all activities required internally to manage efficiency levels; need to have good inter personal relationships to manage inter departmental processes per Agthia policies.
- Responsible for product sales to drive profitability and over stocking of product without jeopardizing brand quality or image in the market place
- Manage budgets effectively to maximize potential for the products by selling out as planned to achieve targets.
- Brief & update senior management, sales & marketing on market intelligence, competitive activity, pricing and stocks available within other competitive organizations to manage effective pricing strategies and profitability
- Act as brand custodian to ensure logo & trademarks are used as per the brand guidelines and that all consumer contacts are in line with overall brand strategy in spite of being sales oriented.
- Sales strategy, new launches / re-launches and Sales plans based on production, seasonality and stock available especially since the products we produce are seasonal in nature
- Responsible for sales/ product communication to potential and existing clientele
- To develop, retain, maintain and manage and build good client relationships and manage in a manner that is of the highest professional standards in developing these clientele to expand their budgets and increase their sales revenue year on year.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- 5-7 years functional experience out of which 5 years should be in an equivalent Management level
- Experienced in selling “bulk” tomato/ fruit pulps and/ or “frozen vegetables”
- Experience in Large Multinational Corporations – FMCG/ Non-FMCG (preferred)/ Product Sales Experience Required
- Strong and successful experience in business to business sales
