Senior Marketing Manager - Mall Management - Cairo Festival City - Cairo, Egypt

We are seeking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to ensure that through direct involvement with the Retail Marketing team, all parties and companies within Festival City, whether owned by the Al-Futtaim Group or a supplier, the strategic Marketing and Communications plan is delivered in a professional and timely fashion. This role is also required to contribute into the overall Festival City site wide marketing. Your Job responsibilities will be including but not limited to the following:
- Influencing, interpreting and implementing the Marketing Strategy, Branding, Communications, Event Management, Market and Competitor Analysis.
- Lead a new effort, focused on creating and optimising go-to-market tactics, competitive analysis and marketing development initiatives.
- Assisting the Director: of Shopping Centers in developing a multifaceted marketing & communications plan that is realistic, deliverable and measurable for CFC Mall and site wide projects.
- Setting and managing multi-million marketing budgets for the benefit of for Retail Department and other CFC site wide projects.
- Working to pre-agreed timelines and setting objectives and targets for the department, and assuring key deliverables are achieved on budget each financial year.
- Liaison with in-house and external service providers, and advertising agencies to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive customer-focused approach is taken in all communications activities, also creating cross-media packages and establishing best practices tailored to best support the peculiarities of the MENA region.
- Deliver marketing activities aligned to Center Marketing Plan within given budget and on time
- Deliver post analysis for all major activity ensuring agreed debrief template is used to communicate results and learnings. Share debrief and future implications with all key stakeholders
- Post analysis may include surveys of tenant performance and foot all analysis and trends Contribute to the center situational analysis and support Asset Team sharing
- Investigate competitor activities and behavior for trends and potential ideas to improve current/future marketing activity
- Analyze monthly turnover and traffic results, collate commentary and adjust plans as required Complete project plan for marketing activity elements (including timelines and budget)
- Assist with execution of PR plan in conjunction with local and regional agencies.
- Flawless execution of key marketing campaigns (including co-ordination of all stakeholders)
- Execute annual center events program across local events (community & retailers), national events and experiential initiatives (e.g. interactive lighting) executing sales driving tactics for each event
- Assist with preparing and delivering briefs to external advertising agencies and review work delivered prior to approval by Marketing Manager
- Track service delivery and level of performance by external providers/suppliers
- Provide input to Marketing Manager regarding timely constructive feedback provided to National Communications Team through campaign planning process
- Respond to all community requests using relevant system Assist with the planning, management and delivery of the annual digital marketing strategy for the center (across digital, direct & social media touch points) as required given team member annual leave and/or team gaps
- Partner with the Digital Marketing agency to build knowledge and capability across digital touch points and deliver integrated campaign and program plans
- Actively seek to establish solid retailer relationships
- Understand key shopper insights and consider in the delivery of all activity
- Co-ordinate new retail store opening process (e.g. contact list, retailer hand book)Respond to emergency requests in center
- Complete daily mall walk including standards review and communication with retailers
- Production, installation and cleanliness of all center signage
- Implementation of hoarding signage liaising with center management
- Timely response to retailer requests
- Review retailer activities to ensure Westfield standards are adhered to
- Assist center management team to collect and analyze various report data e.g. turnover, traffic Align marketing materials to Al Futtaim branding and direction
- Ensure signage adheres to best international standards and Al Futtaim guidelines

Requirements

- BA in Marketing / Business Administration / Mass Communication
- 10 years of experience in marketing preferably marketing of shopping and commercial center(s)
- Experience and knowledge in real estate marketing
- 4 to 7 years in a managerial position
