Senior Package Manager (Facades)

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior Package Manager (Facades) to work for a Western main Contractor in Cairo, Egypt

Job Role:
- You will need International experience of working for main contractor and ideally with major construction or civil engineering projects.
- Responsible for the management, development and planning of steel on the construction site
- Overseeing the day-to-day execution of the Facades package of a large scale Commercial project
- Manage a team of facade engineers and ensure that the practices' excellent technical standards are continued.
- You will contribute to the ongoing development of the facades department and liaise with clients and architects to ensure the production of holistic designs.
- You will have experience in the design and engineering of a variety of facades, in a recognized structural or design engineering consultancy and be confident running design projects and managing staff, as well as business development.
- Oversee the architects and builders to create the façade, or outer skin, of a building.

Requirements

- Must have a degree in civil engineering or construction
- Must have 10 years Facades Experience
- Must have International experience
- Must be very experienced in glass & aluminium
- Must have main contractor experience
