Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

In charge of collecting data on Prospects and conducting/coordinating the Pre-Screening, to be handed over to RM/SRM’s for relationship management.

SME Prospect Customer Identification
- Prepare target list of potential relationships.
- In charge of gathering SME customer lists from Chambers, Exhibitions and/or Data Service Providers etc.
- Identifies Prospects through conducting Tele-Calls and gathers the required basic data of customers.
- Responsible to market the bank’s products on the tele-calls and test the customer appetite.

Pre-Screen Prospect Customers
- In charge of pre-screening identified customers from the list through initiating the Soft Investigation Report request to the Unit in charge (Credit Investigations Unit).
- Pre-Screened customers are then referred to responsible RMs/SRMs, for relationship management.

Data Warehouse/Management
- In charge of SME Database and Data Warehouse.
- Responsible to maintain all Prospect basic information/data, including customer’s feedback, tele-call and pre-screening results (accepted and/or rejected).
- Accurate Customer Data MUST be kept, to be used for future reference, even for rejected customers.

Abide by Bank’s Policies
- Strictly adhere to ADIB EGYPT’s Credit, Legal and Shariah policies.
- Make sure that extensions of credit follow regulatory limits and the Central Bank of Egypt regulations and guidelines.
- Initiate “credit checking” and “Central de Risqué – CBE” requests, and ensure their completeness by the time of the credit approval.
- Highlight any credit / regulatory issues and/or deviations to senior credit management.

Process Improvement
- Provide recommendations to improve the current procedures and processes to ensure that work is carried out in an efficient manner.

Requirements

- University/College Degree
- Islamic banking knowledge
- 1-2 years’ work experience in SME and/or corporate banking environment.
- A good understanding of the general, economic, political and business environment of the region will be a plus.
