Junior Business Development Manager for GCC Countries (m/f)
MEDIGO is a curated platform that helps patients to find and book affordable high-quality medical care worldwide. We are passionate about improving access to high quality healthcare, patient empowerment, and price transparency for medical treatments.
MEDIGO is supported by leading VCs such as Accel Partners, and employs a team of 45+ people. Our Operations Team plays a vital role in MEDIGO’s success and is currently seeking to grow with a bright and driven Junior Business Development Manager for GCC Countries (m/f). The full-time position is located in Berlin and to be filled at the earliest possible date.
Your tasks
- Manage and build strategic partnerships in the Arab Gulf States (Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) by identifying and approaching prospects and negotiating beneficial deals with hospitals, clinics, doctors, health authorities, health facilitators, B2B partners, and others
- Identify and develop business development strategies and new sales channels
- Support our patient acquisition department for our Arabic speaking markets
- Conduct research and analysis based on the market needs
- Project management in sales, account management, and partnership negotiations
- Coordinate other tasks with other departments and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Modern standard Arabic as mother tongue, and a professional business command of English (these two language requirements are a must)
- Professional knowledge of French and German in addition are a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial thinking and exceptional analytical skills
- Business development and sales experience gained through student jobs or internships (preferably done in startups, consulting or investment banking)
- Excellent grades from a leading university, preferably in business, management, economics
- Very good written and spoken communication skills
- High level of enthusiasm, initiative, empathy, and curiosity
- Creativity and ability to grasp complex processes and numbers quickly
