Engineering Manager - Ghana

Our client, a leader in modular housing is recruiting for an Engineering Manager for their Ghana operations.

- Plans, organizes and directs engineering to meet company objectives for design, new product development and improvement of existing product lines by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
- Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis. Plans documentation system.
- Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing ones.
- Working with Manufacturing, Operations and Quality Managers, reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Engineering staff. Assigning and directing workload to staff. Write performance reviews and solve internal issues.
- Discuss and layout project specifications.
- Confer with higher levels of Management

Requirements

- Relocation is required to West Africa - Accra, Ghana
- Strong preference for a westerner with English as a first language due to communication needs.
- Previous experience in manufactured housing, oil & gas or construction industry is a must.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a Construction Management role in Oil / Gas / Modular Housing.
