The RoleThe Role1- Understand the SABIC SHEMS and OSHA basic requirements and assist in reviewing plant modifications. 2- Develop, implement and update safety procedures to minimize risks and meet statutory requirements and understand the risk management system. 3- Evaluate and improve safety awareness program and conduct safety training for company employees & contractors. 4- Participation in accident investigation and make recommendation to ensure that appropriate lesson are learned and practices changed to prevent reoccurrence. 5- Respond effectively to request for advice and pro-actively address safety, SABIC SHEMS issues in specific incidents or situations to build-in safety wherever possible and minimize risk. 6- Lead / participate in PHA studies and monitor the implementation of recommendations. 7- Participate / follow-up the implementation of Process Safety Management to meet statutory requirements. 8- Conduct SABIC SHEMS Self Assessments both internal & external (with SABIC) and follow-up for implementation of recommendations. 9- Coordinate and participate in monthly safety audit within company 10- Attend and support safety meeting inside and outside the company to increase safety awareness and ensure compliance to requirements. 11- Provide safety professional advice in executing various jobs. 12- Evaluate and improve environment program and conduct environment training for company employees & Contractors 13- Participation in environmental incident investigation and make recommendation to ensure that appropriate lesson are learned and practices changed to prevent reoccurrence 14-Participate in environment studies and monitor the implementation of recommendations. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum Experience : 2 years in the same field. Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Environment Engineer Required Skilles : English Windows OS MS Office Gender : Male Nationality : Saudi |
