Job description / Role
My client is a leading manufacturer of concrete block based in UAE. They are currently looking for an Executive Operation Manager to lead their team.
Description:
You will be heading, establishing and implementing overall business strategies in the plants' production, operations, technical, procurement & logistics, maintenance, sales and marketing, administration and financial activities.
You will be responsible of identifying wastage, ensuring effective operations management, managing major cost drivers, stock availability, macro-update on production planning, labor issues, assessment of work processes, people and technology. In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage the ready-mix business unit and working in accordance with the company policies to deliver a safe and efficient operational environment to budgeted cost levels.
Requirements
Preferably an Mechanical / Civil Engineering degree
Extensive experience in the concrete/ block industry
Experience in senior management role
Experience in the Middle East is desirable
Leadership skills and experience
Proven success in similar industry
