A leading Investment Banking Company based in Muscat, Oman, has launched its first Fund with a corpus of USD 75 million. The Fund’s investment mandate mainly in Oman/Middle East, is targeted at building successful companies with a competitive advantage and help achieve economies of scale in the GCC region. The Fund is primarily focused in the industrial and service sectors. The Fund’s Strategy is to identify/structure growth opportunities and actively manage the growth of its Investee Companies. The Fund Manager has in place a very experienced and competent team with a proven international experience and track record in Private Equity investments. The Fund Manager has also planned to launch a second Private Equity Fund of USD 100 million and proposes to strengthen its management team.
