Job description / Role

ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting job opportunity with one of the largest and most complex Natural Gas Processing & Distribution Companies worldwide.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
1. Experienced in Asset Life Cycle Management, and Asset Life Extension (Asset useful life & extended life)
2. Identifying what could trigger/drive asset replacement, rejuvenation, rehabilitation or retirement
3. Identifying and evaluating threats or risks associated with or relevant to asset life extension
4. Aging and obsolescence management
5. Experienced in Asset life Management System evaluation, and Equipment Hardware verification (current/future degradation mechanisms, obsolescence, aging, performance deterioration)
6. Sustaining Equipment performance, and performance management & evaluation
7. Experienced in Remnant Life assessment/calculation, Extending Asset Life, life expectancy assessment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a) Minimum 11 + years of experience in oil & gas industry
b) B.Sc. mechanical engineer or equivalent
c) Has good experience in assessing the effectiveness of methods/practices related to aging and obsolescence management (aging prediction, prevention, detection, monitoring & mitigation).
