AP Accountant (Arabic Speaking)

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a large reputable group with western management is currently recruiting a AP Accountant. You would be reporting to the AP Team Leader.

As an AP Accountant you will be participating in the migration of the work stream into a SSC center globally. You will be accountable for performing the accounts payable activities for all of the group entities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify vendor invoices and Process those Invoices or Prepare batches of invoices to ensure all vendor payments are booked in the system
- Resolve Invoice on holds and provide resolution thru following up with the right contact person through email or telephone to ensure all vendor payments are done as per agreed terms
- Vendor Helpdesk - Handling different issues with vendors & resolving the outstanding invoices
- Perform Supplier statement reconciliation to ensure the accounts are update and avoid any duplicate payments

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- Arabic language is a must
- Minimum 2-4 years professional experience in invoice processing role in a large MNC
- Preference for degree in accounting.
- Excellent data processing skills fast & accurate
- Extensive Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge in any ERP Applications like Oracle, SAP , Peoplesoft etc.
