RequirementsRequirements Establish a Government Business Unit dedicated to meet the financing requirements of Government Departments, Ministries and Quasi government companies so as to increase our market share of that business. Act as a nodal agent for all the Government business related issues. Ensure regular visits to various Ministries/Government Departments/Quasi Government companies to establish and retain relationships for business opportunities. Formulate and implement, marketing strategies required for the unit with the objective of maximizing revenue/yield and quality assets with main focus on government business. Prepare detailed credit proposals to obtain sanction from the relevant sanctioning authorities and follow up with clients for execution of the documentation. Provide leads to Retail Banking Division, Investment Department, Treasury Division, etc. to offer Banks various products like retail loans/Payroll accounts, advisory services, investments, etc. Ensure timely and accurate submission of various reports and returns to the Management for decision making and review and to regulatory agencies as required. Ensure preparation/coordinating and monitoring the MIS for the department with specific regards to the following: - Weekly departmental performance reports - Daily Exception reports - Renewal of Accounts - Business Proposal, turn around Identify the training and developmental priorities of the staff under him particularly Omanis to ensure that staff are adequately skilled to meet the future requirements of the Bank. |
