FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company. We currently have an opening for a Sales Engineer - Air Solutions within our Industrial Products division in Dubai. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling products and services offered within the ASG portfolio, bringing value to Famco in the competitive UAE maret by achieving set performance targets including sales and gross margins. The principle accountabilities of the role will include: Good Market coverage reflected by way of enquiry generation & lost order data - Enquiry generation by way of cold calls, telemarketing & creative marketing, planned & innovative follow-up by way of visits, telephone calls & mail shots, proper feedback on competition positioning of price, specs, deliveries, accurate lost order data Achievement of sales & Gross margins - Value adding pre-bid meetings, prompt quotations & follow up, handling objections & competition slams, arranging for installation visits when required Customer Satisfaction - Good rapport with customers, facilitating for parts, service & after market services, building good references for future business, addressing the special needs of dissatisfied customers |
RequirementsRequirementsSuitable candidates should have the following skills and experience: BE in Mechanical Engg or Electrical Engineering A minimum of 4 years experience in selling compressors, 2 of which have been in the Gulf Have prior product knowledge of Rotary & Reciprocating air compressors Have a thorough understanding of Air Treatment for oil, water & particles & the respective equipment dealing with this(filters, dryers etc) Advanced training in reticulation study, piping, installation of compressors & accessories, layouts Advanced training in reticulation study, piping, installation of compressors & accessories, layouts Good understanding of compressed air science & energy audit Project management experience & exposure to consultants & EPC contractors Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team |
