The RoleThe RoleThe following section details the operational tasks that need to be managed under the headings of Installations, Daily Activities and Monthly Activities. This is followed by defining the Level of Authority required and the profile for such a role. Daily Activities • Check cash orders that have been placed on the Cash in Transit Company. • Check ATM’s daily that do not perform any transactions & get status from NCR Oman Helpdesk to resolve. • Escalate ATM’s that have been out of service for more than 24 hours. • Manage Install problems as per documented Processes. • Manage and coordinate ATM relocation/deinstallation or moves per documented install Processes. Monthly Activities • Check Network Availability is achieving the contracted service levels. • Check Service Level Maintenance objectives are being achieved by Suppliers. • Work closely with NCR to monitor poor performing and “rogue” ATM’s. |
RequirementsRequirementsProfile While experience of managing ATM networks would be a benefit, it is not essential. More importantly the role requires skills and experience in the following areas: • Experience in managing a geographically dispersed network of I.T based operating devices, such as PC’s operating over a number of sites, retail point of sales systems operating over a number of stores. • Experience in managing third parties who provide a major part of our service. • Coordinating third parties for time critical events, such as installations. • Experience in monitoring a network of devices and translating operating metrics into client service levels. Also able to analyse source of problems and resolve. • Basic understanding in operating a simple Profit and Loss account. • To achieve the above it is likely that the candidate will have background knowledge in IT, Communications or logistics. Installations • Manage the inflow of Data from Sales for new installations. • Use the available tools (Access Data Base, NCR’s IMAC etc) for the management of Site information necessary to install new ATM’s • Manage the Roll Out & Installation of New ATM’s by following the documented Processes • Liaise with all Partners |
