Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client based in Qatar, is seeking to hire a Credit Risk professional, to join within Group Risk Management Division.

This is an analytical role responsible for the development of advanced statistical models for retail products. You would provide support for both ongoing and one-off analytical projects.

Key to the role is Retail scoring model development, validation, implementation and monitoring for application and behavioral scores.

Other responsibilities include;
- statistical model development
- ongoing monitoring of models
- development of segmentation routines
- maintenance of in-house calculators for determining limits
- perform adhoc analysis on bank portfolio
- analyse impact of Basel and Central Bank regulations on these portfolios
- participate and assist in preparation of ICAAP report, Pillar 2
- liaise with Central Bank highlighting and addressing issues relating to ICAAP

Requirements

- Ideally a CFA or MBA holder
- 10+ years of banking exposure within a scorecard / statistical model development role
- SAS programming exposure is preferred
- Superb command of English with excellent communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
