Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Contribute to FGIT business strategy and development by helping business leaders to identify & prioritize structures and HR processes to implement
* Support the implementation of a market aligned Compensation and Benefits structure.
* Drive HR agenda within local business plan to ensure people processes enable future business objectives.
* To lead and drive FGIT's Organisation Development strategy ensuring organisation capabilities are aligned to current and future business needs & requirements
* Lead and support all projects & initiatives that support organisational development and cultural change within FGIT by working with key business and HR stakeholders as well as external consultants
* Oversee all HR processes in relation to third party contractors including recruitment against the annual manpower plans, monitoring of hiring and compensation practices, training plans, aligned to 'One Team' approach
* As FGIT grows its presence internationally, work with HOHR and international HR to align HR policies and practises to local requirements
* Play an active role as part of the Technologies Leadership Team to ensure the HR agenda is driven at a management level
* Act as a liaison between the line and Head Office HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal customer needs

* Advise on key HR service requirements in line with FGB HR:
- Resourcing
- Reward & Recognition
- Performance Management
- Learning & Development
- ER issues (grievance, absence, etc)

* Manage recruitment activities across the business and in liaison with Head office IBM Kenexa team acting as a key interface with any exec search companies as necessary
* Development and maintenance of HR policies, contracts and other HR material in line with local legislation
* Ensure business compliance with Organisation HR policies and processes. * Provide HR advice and coaching to employees and Line Managers when appropriate
* Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to support the improvement of HR policies and initiatives
* Support execution of HR projects from HO as and when required
* Maintain a knowledge of HR practices and key trends in the local market place
* Communicate and ensure understanding by employees of relevant regulations, laws and organisational policies
* Maintain awareness and educate business on
* Establish relationships with key regulators and consultants where applicable to support the development of the business

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business or HR
* 7+ years HR experience
* Proven experience of operating within IT sector and / or financial services sector preferred
* In-depth and broad knowledge of HR with experience of international practices is preferred.
* Substantial business acumen
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes in line with local market trends and legislation and where possible knowledge of other markets where FGB has a presence e.g. Asia Pacific
* Commercially and culturally aware, and highly sensitive to the social, economic and political environment.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Strong team orientation, working effectively in virtual international teams. *Ability to drive organizational change effectively
* Ability to build personal credibility and strong partnerships with stakeholders
* Strong demonstrated values
