AVP IT Infrastructure (Islamic Bank)

To plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Infrastructure & Support Services, Administer the IT budget, staff and physical facilities of the department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop Information Technology strategy in support of the companys mission and core objectives.
Plan IT systems budget, manage and update.
Management and monitoring of new system rollouts.
Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that the financial targets are met.
Negotiate service level agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.
Accountable for the management, mentoring and career development of all IT staff.
Define and seeks approval for the level of IT resources required to meet these goals and prioritize and schedule major projects.
Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.
Conduct Redundancy planning and Scalability planning.
Direct attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops to keep up to date with Information Technology issues.
Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Professional qualification in Computer Science.
Very specific knowledge of banking related computer systems and operations.
Attendance of a general management, people management and change management courses.
Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
Managerial skills to lead & control a sizable team of staff.
Good communication and inter-personal skills.
Sound knowledge of Banking Law and Practices
