Job description / Role
To provide legal, advisory and documentation support to Financial Markets in the following areas:
a) Sales, Structuring & Trading (covering all traded asset classes).
b) COO and other support functions including TCRM, Risk, Finance, Middle/Back office, etc.
c) Infrastructure issues relating to electronic trading platforms, trade confirmations and processing.
Responsible for the Identification and mitigation of legal risks.
Assist with review of policies and procedures with relation to compliance.
Assist in process governance committees and operation risk committees where required.
Assist with new product development roll-outs to new jurisdictions.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
Qualified lawyer, preferably in a common law jurisdiction.
Proven experience in Financial Markets, covering multi-asset classes and derivatives.
Banking experience.
Reporting / Salary
Reports to Head of Legal.
Salary 50k-65k depending on experience and candidate.
