Job description / Role
A leading master developer is on the hunt for an AVP Projects to join their team in the UAE.
The desired candidate is required to develop strategic project management plans, establish project management processes and procedures, manage consultants, resource planning, risk assessment and value engineering and provide leadership to the project team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To define and develop project business strategy, capable of delivering projects in line with fiscal and other constraints of the project
- To identify future business opportunities
- Prepare and control operational budgets
- Establishing in house monitoring and tracking procedures
- Preparation of specific development, design and construction programs and allowances for key activities
- Monitoring and control of external Consultants/Specialists
- Risk assessment and value engineering
- Implement quality management systems requirements related to the Projects and look for opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
The candidate must have a degree in either Construction Management or Civil Engineering along with a minimum of 15+ years of post qualification in a senior management position with a property development company in the Middle East / Europe and must have handled large scale projects from planning to close out.
