Our client, a leading direct marketing agency in Dubai, are looking for an Account Director:

This is an extremely exciting time to join a growing and ambitious agency in an Account Director role with responsibility for the strategic direction and profitable delivery of client projects. The role will be focusing on Dubai and MEA clients with a specific sector focus on Financial Services and Media.

This will include strategic development of data driven engagement strategies to achieve client goals and deliver against annual and quarterly success metrics – across multiple communication channels throughout Dubai & MEA.

Managing, mentoring and developing a large account team to ensure that strategy is implemented in a timely and a cost effective manner.

Working in conjunction with the wider account team; ensuring consistent and proactive leadership whilst developing strong relationships with all client and stakeholders.

You will work with the client team to ensure that we deliver tangible results against the client business objectives (tactical and strategic) and demonstrate innovation, creativity and ROI to the client whilst motivating and stimulating ideas across the account team.

Responsibilities:
- Key EMEA client point of contact for all aspects of the reward programme strategy, design and delivery both at a strategic and operational level
- This role is very much about driving profitable relationships with the customer you’ll be working very much upstream with the client to encourage them to drive their business forward.
- Building relationships at a senior level with the client to ensure planning is integral to all communications and that loyalty and influencer strategies are properly represented.
- Ensure the strategic use of both online and offline marketing and help clients move from a volume model to data loyalty multi-channel communications strategy.
- Your team will be managing a lot of operational processes so you need to be prepared to understand these and ensure these are being reviewed frequently and cost-effectively delivered
- You will have the opportunity to work with Account Teams to develop strategies for clients to improve their campaign targeting, by drawing together the results of post campaign analysis and using data insights to drive future campaigns and ensure that the best results are achieved for the client.

- People management - You need to motivate, inspire and lead the team to achieve in a fast-paced and demanding environment when it can be challenging to manage people and client demands

Requirements

- Significant experience working in a marketing agency environment, or within a client-side marketing environment (traditional marketing or loyalty/CRM background)
- Graduate or professional marketing qualifications
- Strategic thinking and execution
- Demonstrate tenacity and drive to ensure client and project goals are achieved
- Proven project leadership skills through structured project management principles
- A natural problem solver, who can get to the heart of an issue and who thinks holistically and creatively about solutions.
- You’re commercially strong and have good business acumen; you can demonstrate where you have used data driven insights to achieve business goals with integrated campaigns for your clients.
- You have a some experience of managing accounts/projects with a lot of complex operational activity
- You’re experienced in delivering multi-channel creative communications solutions, across multiple channels, with a strong background in planning gained agency side.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships with both internal and external teams is necessary to ensure that the information is gathered from all relevant sources and used to the best effect
