Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Work for a corporate events company dealing with their MNC clients

CONDUCTING BUSINESS
- Work closely with the Business Development team and take conversations forward by interpreting Clients Brief and Converting brief into business
- Understanding the clients event requirement & accordingly involve the team in research, planning & strategy, conceptualizing and leading all brainstorming meetings (business development, creative, operations, artiste) to provide innovative solutions on the project
- Provide timely feedback to the Internal Team and make sure appropriate reiterations are made to the concept thought, design, estimate, etc.
- Planning and Supervision: making event proposals, conceptualization of event proposals, budget creation with the Operations team, creative supervision, quality control, assigning jobs/roles with respect to the event to other team members, creating action & project plans (project cost sheets, detailed checklists, resource plans, schedules, event flows/scripts and manual for the event etc)
- Negotiate with clients on cost estimates to ensure maximum profitability on every project
- Overseeing the legal and financial aspects of the project on a holistic basis including
- Signed contract with client
- Well defined payment terms and phased manner of deliverables
- Coordination with Internal Team and external Vendors for effective completion of the project
- Executing proper closure of the project including
- Post show P&L
- Recovery of balance dues, if any, from clients. In case Business Development is responsible for the same then follow up with them for the recoveries
- Post show payments and closure with all the vendors
- Post show report for the client on the successful completion of the event
- Post show analysis including identification of failures and recommended rectifications for the same
- Prepare a case study on the project (from idea to execution) including photographs and video of the event.

- Regular attendance at work. Office starts at 9.00 AM.

- Event Execution needs of other teams as per availability and requirements.

KPI
- Meeting Job Responsibility
- Number of Pitches to Conversions
- Number and ratio of events compared to the number of incidents.
- Number and percentage of events requiring intervention and whether this was performed.
- Number and percentage of events indicating performance issues.

Requirements

- 2+ years experience working as an account manager
- 2+ years experience working for an events agency
- 2+ years UAE experience
- Experience working with large scale corporate events is preferable
- Experience in business development and helping the agency to expand client base
- Bachelors degree preferable
