Account Director - Client Service team, agency - Dubai

The Account Director will be responsible for leading and developing the client services team and will contribute to strategic planning at client level.

The ideal candidate will successfully manage and inspire peers, team members and other stakeholders. The individual must be able to manage multiple accounts and drive projects forward from the planning stage right through to implementation

Responsibilities and Duties:

People Management
* The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Manage and direct a team to ensure that they are motivated to deliver effectively towards clients goals and in line with client agreed processes.
* The individual will work alongside the group recruitment team to recruit the best client services staff and will be in charge of the whole on-boarding process.
* Support account team in day to day delivery whilst maintaining a high level view of all client projects

Client Relationship Management
* Manage multiple accounts and take responsibility for the client relationship on specific projects.
* Financial management achieving the highest possible profit margin on client projects

Business Development & Strategy
* Participate in the generation of new business by identifying industry specific opportunities
* Attend initial meetings and pitches and manage new leads through to confirmed business
* Act as an internal and external consultant for your area of expertise contributing to your clients internal strategies
* Promote Group services to the client actively focusing on opportunities for cross selling and developing your clients work portfolio.

Requirements

* Applied experience in the delivery of regional/ global digital marcomm programmes
* Five years within a marketing or communications agency environment
* Previous experience in planning and implementing communication strategies
* Experience in brief writing and using insights to drive internal development teams
* Sound leadership and people management skills including coaching and mentoring, delegation, resource management and on-boarding
* Business Development experience is a must with a good working knowledge of sales techniques and product development
