Job description / Role
Our client is a leading provider of products and consulting services to the capital markets industry. Focused on financial institutions that work cross asset, often with multi-system and/or high volume trading activities, the company scopes, designs, develops, implements and supports a broad range of mission critical data and trading systems across front, middle and back-office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Train clients' cutting edge business technologies
- Identify and communicate with corporate decision-makers in the mid-market, with focus on value-propositions and providing tailored business solutions for financial technology needs.
- Tele prospecting and lead generation within the business community, qualifying leads based on campaign criteria
- Research and gather business intelligence
- Provide follow-up activities as part of closing the sale

Requirements
- Polished and professional communication skills required -- must be able to converse effectively with executive level decision makers
- High level of organizational skills
- Strong, demonstrable sales aptitude and a hunter mentality
- One to three years business to business (B2B) phone sales experience
- Technology/Banking experience/exposure, or experience in a similarly sophisticated industry
- Proficiency in the use of Outlook and MS Office products
- BA/BS or applicable experience that demonstrates skill sets for this position
- Ability to learn the business benefits of technology and confidently articulate them to a prospect
