Account Manager – Africa
PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:
To manage all the contracts (customers, vendor and suppliers) in support of the operations within the Africa region as well as managing any new contract terms or modifications in relation to pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that agreements with vendors / suppliers and our customer are commercially advantageous for the Fuels Business Unit.
KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Account Manager Africa is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
Review monthly profitability of all customer and supplier/vendor contracts.
Review KPIs, and communicate progress to senior management and in theater operations.
Develop and manage external customer relationships.
Liaise and manage all internal key stakeholder relationships within Supreme to ensure the continued success and profitability of contracts, including within Supreme Fuels, Corporate support and all Supreme vendors and contractors in support of the program.
Promotion of the Supreme Brand (Brand Ambassador).
Review profitability of monthly pricing – contribute to any audit processes and customer negotiations on contract mix of costplus and fixed pricing, as per the contract.
Manage negotiations of contract modifications with respect to both operations and pricing.
Identify, communicate and implement business development opportunities.
Manage the execution of statement of works.
Review trends in statistical data relating to fuel operations and work in partnership with the Dubai Ops Cell and Business Reporting Manager to meet contractual reporting obligations.
Support Credit team in account establishment all credit application forms, customer documentation and collection of outstanding receivables to support positive cash flows under the fuel program.
Manage customer expectations through dialogue, visits and and formal written communication.
Manage and communicate contract compliance.
Manage Liaison Officers with respect to contractual requirements, performance and all customer communication.
Degrees & Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or related discipline - Essential
MBA - Desirable
Knowledge & Experience:
Business case development and Request For Proposal (RFP) writing.
Business to Business (B2B) client relationship management experience or corporate account management.
Contract Management Experience
Presenting briefs to senior external stakeholders using presentation technology tools
Strong work history in middle to senior management in a macro level commercial field
Working to tight time frames and meeting client expectations.
Fuels Industry Knowledge (Desirable)
