Account Manager - Airlines (VisitBritain)

VisitBritain, the national tourism agency, promotes Britain as a destination of choice, working with stakeholders and the industry to build the visitor economy. We are now looking for a Key Account Manager – Airlines based in our Dubai office to play a key role in managing the relationship with specific carriers and engage with the airline sector.

Reporting to the Regional Manager APME and the Head of Partnerships, you will help to recruit match funded partners and negotiate a joint delivery plan. You will identify and seek opportunities to network with the broader industry and communicate the benefits of the GREAT Britian Your Invited campaign.

With a highly developed understanding of the British tourism product and its infrastructure, your tourism marketing experience should ideally include working on campaigns for or with airlines. Your account management skills will encompass good customer understanding, contact management and communication, plus experience of developing customer focused strategies.

Requirements

You will be capable of working on your own initiative, have excellent organisational skills, be a problem solver and a strong team player. You will also have good financial management skills and computer literacy including Excel and PowerPoint.
