Job Description
To assist the Head - GSAM in managing all aspects of GSAM portfolio including but not restricted to taking remedial action in order to minimize risks and maximize recoveries.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* To manage a portfolio of impaired accounts.
* To implement strategy and action plans for the accounts responsible for.
* To evaluate and make judgments on the credit risk applications and to assume personal responsibility for the accounts in the portfolio.
* To assist in protecting the Bank's interest in complex Group and Multi -lender restructuring or recovery actions.
* To manage the potential risks from litigation, regulatory and other claims in areas of responsibility and to negotiate personally as required in complex situations.
* To recognize opportunities during a negotiation.
* To engage in review of potentially problematic, non-GSAM accounts.
* To ensure integrity of data and information relating to the accounts in portfolio through the Amadeus process and other reports.
* To actively monitor the level of provision in the accounts in portfolio ensuring compliance with Group policies and regulatory guidelines.
* To manage reporting of information to our auditors and regulators ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies and guidelines.

* Auditors
* Legal and accounting firms
* Central Bank (regulators)

Requirements

- Relevant experience in Corporate banking relationship management
- Chartered Accountant or MBA degree
- Knowledge of Lending products and documentation
- Law graduate or familiarity with Law is a plus
- Experience in restructuring debts; participation in Lender Committee forums
- Exposure in Leverage Finance and Debt Capital markets; business valuations
- UAE market experience is a plus
- Good degree of confidence
- Good negotiator
- Very good verbal and written English Communication skills
