Account Manager

A hard working, energetic and experienced Account Manager is required by an award winning boutique agency in Dubai.

The candidate will be responsible for managing client marketing & communication activity across multiple brands, projects and marketing channels. The role requires agency experience in preparing and analysing client briefs for a multitude of requirements including but not restricted to ATL, BTL, Live Communication and Digital Marketing.
Successful candidates will be equally comfortable working within a team or independently and must show initiative and confidence in presenting creative & strategic work,preparing marketing & media strategy, developing and identifying new business opportunities for the Agency whilst managing client and agency relationship for existing customers.

The Account Manager will report directly to the Account Director, but may also be assigned tasks by other members of the team or by the agency’s senior management and will be responsible for overseeing Account Executives, Interns or external consultants and partners.

Requirements

Pre-Requisites & Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management or other relevant experience in an advertising or marketing agency
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office while paying strict attention to detail
• Up-to-date knowledge and interest in marketing and & media trends and best practices
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in work experience
• UAE Driving License & Car
• Arabic speaking preferred
Typical Work Activities
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to existing or new customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and work the internal team to effectively complete scope of work to the highest standards and within the terms of specific contracts/working practices.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of creative and marketing solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and grow new business opportunities, present company credentials and prepare pitch presentations based on client RFP
• Proactively contribute ideas in brainstorming meetings and for project planning
• Problem-solve in a creative and efficient manner
